GOOD THINGS LIST: FEBRUARY

GOOD THINGS LIST: FEBRUARY

And we’re done with winter!

The last week of February was just magical here in Belgium. We were blessed with almost 20 degrees, sunny blue skies, birds singing non-stop and flowers about to bloom. It was beautiful. Now that we’re already three days into March, and the weather’s changed to something more appropriate for the season, let’s reflect on the last month of winter’19 and see what happened to me during those days.

HEART AND “SOL”

HEART AND “SOL”

As my current visa status prohibits me from traveling out of Belgium, my inner travel junkie wants to see more and more of the world. That’s why I’ve decided to share with you some of the places that I’m willing to visit as soon as possible. And all of them are those hidden gems that sometimes can be right under our noses. The Costa del Sol is one of those places that is a hotbed for tourism, but you shouldn't let that put you off because a place as sandy, sunny, and special as this begs you to go there, relax, or just marvel at the wonderful sights. Luckily, there are also plenty of things to do! Let’s see what I (and maybe some of you too?) can and/or planning to do there.

GOOD THINGS LIST: JANUARY

GOOD THINGS LIST: JANUARY

So here we are, in the very end of the first month of 2019. It’s surreal how fast the days go by, and that’s why I find it super important to appreciate each and every moment. WHAT MAKES ME FEEL BEAUTIFUL

WHAT MAKES ME FEEL BEAUTIFUL

You guys know that after moving to Belgium, I haven’ been feeling my best both mentally and physically. I think I have achieved a new level in the life of an immigrant which is frustration. Thankfully, I do understand that it is a natural reaction, it is temporary and will eventually come to an end. These days are somewhere in the future and we have yet to get there, but life is happening today and now, and I definitely need to do something ASAP because… I’ve been catching myself on the thoughts of not feeling beautiful anymore. I’ve lost the contact with my body, my personal needs and desires. It’s just not me. Getting back to my rather happy and confident self is essential to my wellbeing, so

Here are the four things that help me brighten up

HOW I ORGANISE MY LIFE: STATIONERY AND USEFUL APPS

I am not very good with long-term planning and I don’t really get how people manage to schedule and write down everything for the upcoming 5, 7, or 10 years. One year or even half a year is my max.

Today, I am going to break down how I organise my life and to-do’s with the help of my planner, and how it keeps me on track of everything.

RESOLUTIONS I'M GOING TO KEEP THIS YEAR

New Year Resolutions That Are NOT Related toWeight-loss

It’s time. 2019 is already here, and the goals, statements and promises are pouring in.

Gyms, new relationships and jobs, quitting bad habits and drinking more water — we all know how it goes. While those are honourable, here are some resolutions I’m really going after this year. I wanted to write them down here to hold myself accountable. Hopefully, I can actually keep these:
